FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Police are investigating after a double fatal pedestrian accident in Farmington Hills. The accident occurred around 10 p.m. Sunday along 12 Mile Road just west of Orchard Lake Road.
Witnesses say two people were attempting to cross 12 Mile when they were struck by a vehicle.
Sources tell 7 Action News that a mother and child were the ones who were cross the road when they were hit by a vehicle and killed.
We're told the driver did stop at the scene.
Anyone with information on the accident is asked to call Farmington Hills Police.
