22,000 residents without power in metro Detroit, DTE says

DTE Energy says there are currently 22,000 who have no power in metro Detroit.

The hardest hit area in DTE's coverage area was Tuscola County.

All outages are related to high winds and overnight storms.

Residents are reminded to stay at least 20 feet away from downed power lines.
