(WXYZ) — A quarter of adults in the United States didn't read a book in the past year, according to a Pew Research Center survey.
The survey reports that 27 percent of people say they didn't read a book at all last year – not even a part of one. That includes print, electronic books and audio books.
The study found people who didn't go to college and those who make less than $30,000 a year were less likely to pick up a book.
Nearly a decade ago, only 19 percent of folks said they hadn't read a book in the past year.
