DETROIT (WXYZ) — Michigan State Police conducted a traffic initiative on the Lodge Freeway on Wednesday.
Troopers conducted the initiative between 8 p.m. and midnight looking for speeding, aggressive and distracted driving from Jefferson Avenue to 8 Mile Road.
Overall, troopers conducted 29 stops, resulting in four felony arrest charges, 14 misdemeanor arrest charges and troopers issued 20 citations and 14 verbal warnings.
One of the felony arrest charges involved a firearm.
