(WXYZ) — Three hundred bikers hit the road Sunday to help families affected by autism.
The 15th annual Ride for Autism was held at Motown Harley Davidson in Taylor.
The bikers set out on a 55-mile ride throughout metro Detroit to raise awareness in the communities.
According to the CDC, one in every 39 children are diagnosed with being on the autism spectrum.
"Nobody knows the daily struggles," said Sal Ferra, president of the Ride for Autism. "This is the greatest thing you can do to help them."
The fund will help families with educational options, therapists and other services.
