64-year-old Detroit woman found safe after missing since May 9

DETROIT (WXYZ) — UPDATE: Sherrell Dunklin-Slater has been located and is doing fine, according to Detroit Police.

The family of Sherrell Dunklin-Slater, 64, is hoping for information that will help locate the woman who hasn't been seen since Monday, May 9.

Dunklin-Slater was last seen leaving her niece's house in the 19000 block of Rogge. Police say she is in good physical condition, but suffers from mental illness.

Dunklin-Slater is 5 foot 5 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, has brown eyes, and was wearing a black and gray short wig which was parted down the middle.

The woman was last seen wearing silver hoop earrings, silver rings on multiple fingers and three silver necklaces – one with a cross, another with a heart and another with circles.

She was also wearing a black coat with a gray and black fur collar, green and white shirt, blue jean stretch pants and black patent leather flat baby doll shoes.
