"It's terrible. These people need to go find a job," said Edna Roberson about the man who shot her 75-year-old husband during an attempted robbery outside their home Friday morning.
It happened in the area of Eight Mile Road and Hubbell in northwest Detroit.
Henry Roberson was on his way to his car to head to work when it happened around 8:00 am.
The armed robber reportedly demanded everything Henry had and when he told the gunman that he didn't have anything, he was shot in the hand.
The suspect description is vague, but anyone with any information is urged to call Detroit Police.
Mr. Roberson is expected to be okay.
