After thousands of dollars in equipment was stolen from Capuchin Soup Kitchen earlier this week, Ally Financial has stepped in to help.

The bank company will be donating $5,000 to replace the computers stolen from Capuchin's children tutoring program.

A spokesperson for Ally says the company's employees have volunteered more than 600 hours at the soup kitchen throughout this past year.

The Capuchin Soup Kitchen serves hundreds of thousands of people every year.
