In midst of demonstrations around the country, a group of anti-Trump protesters marched from Wayne State University to Hart Plaza Thursday night.
The group By Any Means Necessary, BAMN, organized the protest which drew hundreds of people.
"It is a failure of the left and the Democrats to not call Donald Trump out for what he is, and that is a racist," said Markeith Jones, chair of Wayne State's BAMN chapter.
Angela Brassert learned about the demonstration on social media.
"I think he ran a campaign that appealed to the emotions of a very vulnerable group of people and took advantage of them," Brasset said.
