Aretha Franklin's funeral will be open to some members of the public

Some members of the public will be allowed to attend Aretha Franklin's funeral on Friday morning in Detroit.

7 Action News has learned that there will be room for about 2,000 members of the public that can attend the funeral.

Those who want to attend will need to get there early and stand in line at Greater Grace Temple on 7 Mile on Detroit's west side.

The funeral is scheduled to start at 10 a.m.

The funeral is expected to last several hours, with special speakers including former President Bill Clinton, Smokey Robinson and more.

Performances at the funeral will include Stevie Wonder, Faith Hill, Jennifer Hudson and many more.
