DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are looking for two suspects in connection to an armed robbery at a local convenience store on the city's east side.
One suspect forced entry into the store on Friday, Jan. 31, as two employees were inside. The incident happened just before 9 p.m. in the 20400 block of Van Dyke St. The first suspect used enough force to break the glass door entrance. When that suspect got inside of the building, he forced the two employees to the managers' office.
A second suspect entered the building shortly after. The suspects then demanded that the two women employees fill bags with money from the store's safe. The suspects then fled the location on foot.
The first suspect is described as average build and was last seen wearing a black mask, black hooded jacket, blue jeans with stonewash down the front, blue gym shoes and dark gloves. He's believed to be between 5 feet 11 inches and 6 feet 2 inches tall.
The second suspect is believed to be between 5 feet 11 inches and 6 feet 2 inches tall. He's described as average build and was wearing a black mask, black hooded sweater, black pants, black shoes and white gloves.
