Pure Michigan debuted its first new creative ad campaign in almost five years this week.
We were there when they filmed the new Detroit-centered spots in the city, giving everyone a behind the scenes look at the award-winning ad campaign.
It took 32 crew members and 60 actors and actresses three 14-hour days to shoot the commercials.
Most of the Avalon Film crew has been together for almost nine years, working with McCann Detroit agency. They have added new pieces to their puzzle, including a camera-capable drone.

Tim Allen's voice is one of the most recognizable parts of the Pure Michigan campaign. His touch remains in the new commercials.
Here's hoping we can watch him add his magic touch to the spots next time around!
