DETROIT (WXYZ) — A 15-year-old boy was shot Thursday while he was riding his bike through a park near Fairmount and Schoenherr in Detroit.
The boy is currently in stable condition at a local hospital.
According to a preliminary investigation, police say the teen was riding his bike when a group of men in the area who were gambling, started shooting. The boy realized he was shot. He was then privately taken to a local hospital.
Detroit police are investigating the incident.
