The Dog Run at Grand Circus Park in Detroit is hosting another themed event called Canine Karaoke.
It will be held on Saturday, October 14 from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be a DJ and a competition for dogs and their owners.
Venders will also be on hand, like the Bow Wow Baketique from Grosse Pointe Woods.
"Bow Wow Biscuit" Recipe:
-2 cups whole wheat flour
-2/3 cup of water
-1/3 cup peanut butter
-1 tablespoon molasses
-1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
-1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
Combine dry ingredients (whole wheat flour, cinnamon, cloves). Mix water, peanut butter and molasses together. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet. Mix ingredients until dough forms and ingredients are blended throughout. Roll into desired shapes. You can use any shape cookie cutter you want! After dog treats are cooled, decorate with melted carob for added fun.
