Cats and dogs suffer in heat at shelter that has no air conditioning

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) - An animal shelter in Oakland County has no air conditioning, so pets waiting to be adopted are suffering in the heat.

The Oakland County Animal Control & Pet Adoption Center is scrambling to keep the pets cool with pools and fans. They are even spraying down the cats with water.

The shelter says it's very important to adopt these pets. If you would like to help, the center is located at
