Charlie Wilson to join Bruno Mars' "24K Magic World Tour" at Little Caesars Arena

Eleven-time Grammy award winner Bruno Mars has announced special guest Charlie Wilson will join the "24K Magic World Tour" in Detroit. 

Wilson will join Mars for two performances at Little Ceasars Arena on Saturday, September 15 and Sunday, September 16 at 8 p.m.

Charlie Wilson, affectionately called "Uncle Charlie" is the former lead vocalist of the 70's group the Gap Band. The group sang hits like "Outstanding" and "Yearning for your love."

As a solo artist, Wilson's popular 2009 "There Goes My Baby" earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance.
