The city of Detroit is hosting a job fair on Thursday afternoon with more than 100 positions open across several departments.
According to the city, people will have the opportunity to join the Detroit Department of Transportation, General Services and the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department.
It's happening at the Patton Recreation Center at 2301 Woodmere from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Positions open include:
- 80 Transportation Equipment Operators starting at $13.01/hour
- 20 Coach Service Attendants starting at $10.39/hour
- 15 General Auto/Body Mechanics starting at $21/hour
- 15 Field Service Technicians starting at $13.56
