Classes have been canceled at Southfield Public Schools due to the heat advisory on Tuesday.
After-school and evening activities have also been canceled. Staff still have to report at the scheduled time.
A heat advisory is in effect on Tuesday until 8 p.m for Oakland, Wayne and Macomb counties.
