The man charged with the murder of Wayne State University Police Sgt. Collin Rose will have another hearing on Friday to determine if he is competent to stand trial.

Raymond Durham has had several competency hearings over the past year, and so far, each one has ended with a judge ruling he is not competent to stand trial.

In November 2017, the Michigan Forensic Center found Durham incompetent to stand trial, but prosecutors had asked for an independent evaluation. In February 2018, that evaluation also gave them the same determination.

Durham was charged with first degree murder in the death of Rose, which happened in November 2016.
