(WXYZ) — Consumers Energy says it's closely monitoring winter weather across Michigan this weekend.
The company says it is "mobilizing resources" in anticipation of the snowy weather excepted in the Lower Peninsula, and the strong winds coming late Saturday and Sunday.
The weather could result in downed power lines and outages.
