There was a big round of applause for two heroes this morning, now back in Michigan from a live-saving trip on the road.

Steven Hill and Jason Nelson pulled a baby out of a burning car on a Florida Interstate in Lake City minutes before the car went up in flames last week.

The baby's father was killed in the accident.

They're both movers for Corrigan Moving Systems in Farmington Hills.

"When you have an opportunity to recognize two employees who done such a heroic thing, it's something I was thinking about since it happened..get them back here...appreciate what they are doing," said President of Corrigan Moving Systems David Corrigan.

Baby Avalyn is still fighting for her life, but the men, both still very emotional, say they're happy they were able to give her a second chance.

"There was no other option...car was on fire and there was nobody else there...we were the only car on the road," said Jason.

Since, the two have visited Avalyn at the hospital and even attended her father's funeral.
