Credit card security breach affects big-name hotel chains

(WXYZ) - Reports of another data breach is causing concern once again.

This time around, a number of big-name hotels have been affected including Marriott, Holiday Inn and Sheraton Hotels.

The management company who helps run the hotel chains said there was a credit card data breach between March and December of 2013.

This most recent case comes after hackers hit Target, Neiman Marcus and Michael's Stores this winter.

Most of the thefts at the hotels reportedly happened inside the properties' bars and restaurants.
