A 10-year-old girl and a 53-year-old man were killed and another 10-year-old girl is in critical condition after a three-vehicle accident late Sunday night on Detroit's west side.

It happened around 11:55 p.m. at the intersection of Linwood & Glendale just south of Davison.

Police say the 53-year-old, identified as George Noble, was driving a black Toyota with two 10-year-old twin girls inside. One of the twins, identified as Arriyonna Woods, and the 53-year-old were pronounced dead shortly after the crash, the other twin, Erriyonna Woods, is currently in critical condition, according to police.

According to police, the Toyota carrying the twins, their mother and their mother's boyfriend was slowing or stopped at the light on Linwood when a Chevy Impala rear-ended the Toyota, pushing and wrapping it around a utility pole.

The Impala then hit a white Lincoln carrying a 42-year-old man and 43-year-old woman. After hitting the Lincoln, the Impala flipped up on it's roof.

The 30-year-old man driving the Impala was arrested at the scene of the crash. His 24-year-old passenger suffered non-life threatening injuries.
