(HOUGHTON LAKE, Mich.) WXYZ — A 32-year-old woman from Dearborn Heights was arrested on Sunday around 10:20 p.m. for child endangerment and driving with a suspended license.

Police learned through a stop that she had been drinking and had children, ages 6 and 8, in the car. She also did not have a valid Michigan operator's license because her license was suspended. Following her arrest, the children were turned over to the passenger.

State troopers found and followed the woman's car after the Roscommon County Central Dispatch issued a "Be on the Lookout" for a possible impaired driver of a Town and Country minivan who was traveling all over the roadway in Prudenville area. Troopers found the woman from the Next Door Food Store in Prudenville. That's when they noticed the driver couldn't keep the car in its lane.

The woman failed field sobriety tests and was lodged in the Roscommon County Jail. The car was legally legt parked in the Walmart parking lot.
