Family and friends will gather today to say goodbye to 13-year-old Deontae Mitchell.
His funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Second Ebenezer Church on Dequindre and 6 Mile in Detroit.
Three people are charged with kidnapping, torture and murder in connection to Deontae's death.
Gregory Walker - who is accused of choking Deontae - also faces a charge of premeditated murder.
Sources say he was drunk when he dropped $70 and went after Deontae and his cousin for picking it up.
Walker's girlfriend and her stepson could also face life in prison if convicted.
