DETROIT (WXYZ) — In these uncertain times, it is important to surround ourselves with messages of love and hope. One local school choir is doing just that.

While we can't gather together at this time, people are taking to the internet to spread joy during this time of crisis. Detroit Country Day's choir is an example of the community coming together virtually to uplift spirits.

Director of Choirs, Ronald Weiler and his High School Concert Choir held a virtual choir performance which they were supposed to perform at the "Celebrate the Arts Concert."

The song they performed is "O Love" by composer Elaine Hagenberg.

The virtual performance was not only a way to bring the choir together, but to create lasting memories for the seniors who cannot be together as a group at this time.
