Detroit firefighter injured after fire reignites on city's east side

(WXYZ) - Detroit police say that one firefighter was injured after a fire reignited in a commercial building on the city's east side. 

Fire crews were back on the scene of the fire that originally started last week.

The building is located at Farnsworth and Riopelle. We're told the firefighter, Sergeant Vincent Griffin, was injured when he jumped off of the rig as part of the building collapsed. The firefighter suffered a minor leg injury and was taken to the hospital to be treated.
