Detroit man shot while waiting for bus in Roseville

A 30-year-old Detroit man was shot in the hand while waiting for the bus in Roseville, police say.

He was standing in the parking lot of the Sunoco gas station at 12 Mile and Gratiot waiting for the southbound Gratiot Ave. SMART bus when a series of gunshots rang out.

He told police he felt pain to his hand and when he looked down, he saw there was a gunshot wound. He said he did not observe anyone who may have fired the gunshots and he also does not have any known enemies who may wish him harm.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is currently listed in temporary serious condition.
