Detroit police investigate vehicle crash that left man with multiple gunshot wounds

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are investigating a vehicle accident that left a man with multiple gunshots wounds Friday night.

On Nov. 29 around 10:45p.m., in the area of Michigan and Wabash, a 29-year-old male victim was seen seated inside of a 2007 burgundy Chevy Impala suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body, police say.

The victim's vehicle had crashed into a Silver Ford Focus, according to police. The victim was taken to a local hospital and listed in critical condition.

During a preliminary investigation, officers determined that the shooting happened in the 3800 block of 29th Street. The suspect or suspects are unknown at this time, and no other injuries have been reported. The circumstances surrounding this incident remain under investigation.
