Detroit police investigating 2 non-fatal shootings from overnight

DETROIT (WXYZ) — The Detroit Police Department is investigating two non-fatal shootings. The shootings occurred April 11 and 12, police say.

The first shooting happened just before 10 p.m. in 15700 block of Princeton. A 31-year-old man was walking down his driveway when a man approached him and said something to him before firing shots. The victim was taken to a local hospital and listed in stable condition.

A second non-fatal shooting occurred around 12:20 a.m. in the 9000 block of Chalmers. The victim is a 50-year-old man. Police say he was walking when he heard shots and then felt pain. He was taken to a local hospital and listed in stable condition.
