DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a woman for her purse on the city's east side Monday.
Police say around 2 p.m. in the 8500 block of Woodward, a woman was getting into her car after leaving a local business when the suspect held her door open and demanded money. The suspect then grabbed the woman's purse from the passenger seat, that's when a brief struggle took place.
The suspect then fled on foot eastbound on Hague.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 30s with locs. He was wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts.
