Detroit police looking for men involved in shooting at Coney Island

The Detroit Police Department is looking for two suspects wanted in connection with a shooting at a Detroit Coney Island a few weeks ago. 

On July 18, just after 2 a.m., in the 3000 block of Woodward, a 28-year old male victim got into a verbal argument with a man. During the argument, the man produced a handgun and fired a shot, striking the victim. A second suspect who was also present, a friend of the victim’s, then immediately produced a handgun and fired at suspect 1.

Suspect 1 then fled out the back of the building. And suspect 2 fled through the front of the building.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. He was listed in temporary serious condition.

Suspects:

Suspect 1 – Black male, 5’8” to 6’0”, light complexion, short dreds and a goatee. Wearing a black shirt, black/gray shorts.

Suspect 2 – Black male, 6’0”, short hair, dark complexion. Wearing all black.
