Detroit police looking for missing 16-year-old girl last seen at school

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are asking for the public's assistance locating a missing teen who was last seen Jan. 26.

Shirley Shelly, 16, was last seen at her high school in the 3000 block of E. Lafayette St., at 2:20 p.m. Shelly was last seen by her sister who attends the same school.

Shelly is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds, has shoulder length black and curly hair. She was wearing a gray and turquoise jacket, green hoodie, white polo shirt, black jeans and blue, pink and yellow knee-high rubber boots.

Police say the teen is in good physical and mental condition. If you have information on her whereabouts contact Detroit police at 313-596-1140.
