The Detroit Police Department's Gang Intelligence Unit made what they've called a "significant arrest" on the city's east side.
In a series of tweets sent out Friday afternoon, DPD said that officers executed a search warrant for narcotics in the 14700 block of Kilbourne at 12: 30 p.m.
Police say that during the issue of the warrant, their team uncovered: 15.3 grams of heroin, 3.2 grams of marijuana, rifles, a hand gun, ammo, digital scales, a paintball gun and mask.
The estimated street value of the narcotics is approximately $27,600.
Police added that a 31-year-old man, who is believed to have gang affiliatio, was arrested on the scene. He was then transported to the Detroit Detention Center for Possession with Intent to Deliver and Felony Firearm.
