Detroit police say man robbed couple after his car was hit in a drive-thru

The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying two suspects wanted in an armed robbery that took place on the city's northwest side.

The incident took place on July 23 in the 12700 block of Puritan after a car accident. Police say a couple backed into another car at Coney Island drive-thru. A man and woman got out of the car that was hit.

The man who was in the car that got struck reportedly pulled a gun and robbed the couple at gunpoint.

The suspects are described as a black male wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts and a black female wearing a blue dress.

The man and woman took off in a tan Toyota. It will likely have rear passenger side damage.
