Detroit police are asking for the public's help to locate a missing 43-year-old woman who suffers from mental health issues.
Police say Shamara Rockett was last seen walking away from her home in the 2700 block of S. Annabelle on August 9 around 2:30 p.m.
Rockett is described as a black female, 5'5" and around 140 pounds. She has a slim build, dark complexion and wears glasses.
Rockett is missing one leg, so she walks with crutches or uses a wheelchair.
Police say she is in poor mental condition and needs medication.
