Detroit police seek help locating teen who recently moved to Michigan from North Carolina

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are asking for the public's help locating a missing teen who was last seen by her older sister around noon on Thursday.

Kellyse Jenkins, 14, was last seen in the 7700 block of Asbury Park. This is the first time Jenkins has gone missing, and her family says she just recently moved to Michigan from North Carolina.

Jenkins is 5 foot, 4 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds, has brown eyes, light complexion and has long braided dark-brown hair. She was wearing a dark navy blue and black North Face jacket, a white t-shirt, light blue bermuda shorts and pink crocs.
