Detroit police locate missing 14-year-old girl

DETROIT (WXYZ) — UPDATE: On Thursday, April 4, Detroit police say the missing 14-year-old has been found safe.

Detroit police are asking for the public's help locating a missing 14-year-old girl who was last seen Tuesday, April 2 in the 16000 block of Woodbine.

Lanique Johnson was last seen around 10:30 p.m. Police report that this is the first time Johnson has gone missing.

She's described as a black girl who is about 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds. She's light to brown complected with dark brown hair with two puff pig tails. She has brown eyes, a scar on her right cheek. She was possibly wearing a burgundy, waist-level peacoat with a leaopard hood and black leather knee high boots.
