DETROIT (WXYZ) — In this week's Detroit's Most Wanted, we feature a man with a gun, chasing two women right outside Michigan Central Station in Corktown. He stole their purses and then used their credit cards, as police are cracking down on crime in the area.

The robbery was all caught on camera, and police now need your help finding Anthony Gilchrist. The women were at Mercury Bar on Nov. 8. As they walked to their minivan, a black car pulled up and Gilchrist jumped out.

"As he runs around chasing the woman, you see him cock and load the weapon, so he's inserting a round in the chamber of the weapon as he's chasing these girls," U.S. Marshals Deputy Aaron Garcia said.

The two women dropped their purses and he took off with them. Police say Gilchrist and an unidentified man were also caught using the cards at a nearby gas station.

"Gilchrist is wanted for a parole violation, original charges of breaking in, stealing, home invasion," Garcia said. "He was put on parole for stealing multiple weapons at the time."

Now, the Marshals have teamed up with the Michigan Department of Corrections to find him and send him back.

"He lives in the Detroit area and the last contact we had with hi, he called his probation area saying he was staying in the Flint, Michigan area," Special Deputy Chad Johnson said.

Gilchrist is 28 years old, 5-feet-9, 300 pounds. Marshals believe he's still in the metro Detroit area.

As always, there's a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest of Anthony Gilchrist, the unidentified man, or any of Detroit's Most Wanted.

Because of the government shutdown, the Marshals are asking that you call Crime Stoppers with tips. That number is 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
