Another one of Detroit's Most Wanted has been captured, thanks once again to a 7 Action News viewer tip.

We featured Jermal Cannon as one of Detroit's Most Wanted just one week ago. On Thursday, he was caught on Detroit's west side by the U.S. Marshals.

According to Marshals, Cannon and his cousin lured a man into the street, shot him and left him to die in January 2017. His cousin has been arrested, but Cannon's violent criminal acts have only escalated, police say.

"The victim that was a 55-year-old man was lured out, may have been some sort of drug transaction – was lured out of the house into the street – next thing you know the neighbors, witnesses they hear gunshots," Deputy Aaron Garcia said. The victim was Arthur Tucker.

Both men have ties to Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan. Cannon, who is known as "Mel Mel," is still on the run, while his cousin was arrested in Kentucky.

"In May 2017 Jermal Cannon was also accused of or was also a person of interest in shooting the mother of his infant child – shot her multiple times – by him and the baby was sitting in the car at the time," Garcia said.
