DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police say a barricaded gunman situation that started Friday night in the area of 8 Mile and Woodward is over.
According to police, the suspect surrendered just after midnight and a gun was recovered.
Officers say the 44-year-old man fired shots at his 29-year-old girlfriend. She was able to get out of the house safely before the barricaded situation began.
