Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, the Genesee County doctor who helped alert the public about the Flint water crisis, is nominated to be one of TIME Magazine's 100 Most Influential People in 2016. She is the director of the Pediatric Residency Program at Hurley Medical Center.

Hanna-Attisha is among 127 people who could be on the list after the public's vote. Others include Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders, Serena Williams, Lady Gaga and more.

According to TIME, "the pediatrician's researched confirmed that children in Flint, Mich. had unsafe levels of lead in their blood from contaminated water. She alerted the public after state agencies initially dismissed her concerns, sparking continuing investigation into the city's toxic water supply."

As of Friday morning, Hanna-Attisha is in 19th place, tied with Panti Bliss, Mark Zuckerberg and CL of 2NE1. Sanders is currently leading, followed by Big Bang, President Barack Obama, Lady Gaga and Malala Yousafzai.

You can vote for Hanna-Attisha and all of the other 127 candidates here. Voting closes at 11:59 p.m. on April 10, with the winner of the reader poll announced April 14. The official TIME 100 list will be released on April 21.
