(WXYZ) — An Allen Park man accused of doing donuts on I-94 was arraigned on misdemeanor traffic charges on Tuesday and taken into custody.

Devon Cronk, 22, faces charges of reckless driving and disturbing the peace. Police say video shows his orange Chevy Camaro doing donuts on I-94.

Several cars blocked the highway for the stunt to be carried out. Cheering is heard on the video – including someone saying "We on 94 with it."

In court, an attorney representing Cronk asked for him to be released on a $100 bond.

“When he turned himself in to DDC on Jan. 2, he was supposed to be released on a $100 bond, he ended up being transferred to another jurisdiction," his attorney said.

A judge agreed to the bond, but also said Cronk is wanted on another traffic violation which he missed a court date on.

Bond was set a $200 for a misdemeanor charge of not having a proper license.

He was taken into custody because procedurally, he still has to be processed.

We did ask Cronk before he was taken into custody if he wanted to make a comment, but he declined. He is next scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 23. for a probable cause conference.
