DETROIT (WXYZ) — A driver crashed into a DPD cruisers as officers were investigating another crash on I-94 at Harper early Saturday morning.
Officers were assisting with the investigation, and blocked the freeway lanes.
While the officers were outside of the cruiser, a woman driving along the freeway crashed into an empty cruiser. She told police that she didn't see the emergency lights or the cruiser at the time.
"Please pay attention as you are out on the road. Especially today. There will be a lot of car crashes and police and tow trucks assisting them," Michigan State Police said in a twitter post, warning of impending inclement weather.
There were no injuries.
