Driver who fled crash scene on I-94 has been identified

(WXYZ) — A driver who reportedly fled the scene of a crash on WB I-94 on July 15 has been identified.

Police say that troopers responded to a single vehicle crash on westbound I-94 and Beech Daly where the driver and occupants fled the scene.

There was a large amount of blood at the scene of the crash site.

Now, troopers say that after investigative work, the driver has been identified as a 40-year-old man from Wyandotte. Charges are pending per the prosecutor's office.
