DTE: More than 60,000 without power due to storms in metro Detroit

(WXYZ) — With major storms come major power outages. With much of Southeast Michigan under severe weather warnings, DTE Energy is monitoring outages across metro Detroit.

As of 5:45 a.m., there are approximately 60,584 customers without power. DTE has 112 crews out in the field currently working on repairs.

Consumers Energy also said they have 21,635 people without power.
