"Meet me at the window at 2pm."

A Saline couple living at a senior facility on lockdown over coronavirus fears has found a new way to spend time together. They meet at the window every day at 2 p.m.

Bernie and Nancy Klein both live at StoryPoint assisted living center in Saline. Nancy has Parkinson's Disease and lives in the assisted living section and Bernie is in the independent living complex. They used to meet for lunch and dinner, but the doors have now been locked to keep the residents safe from coronavirus.

The Klein's daughter, Kathy Dorsey, told WXYZ that Bernie is allowed to come and go, even though no visitors are allowed, but Nancy is on lockdown, so they now have a new daily rendezvous: 2 p.m. at the window.

Dorsey posted photos of the couple trying to steal glimpses of each other on Instagram. The post already has 150 likes and 40 comments.

Bernie and Nancy have four children and are trying their best to embrace their new reality, according to Dorsey.
