On Wednesday, 7 Action News brought you the story of an 86-year-old woman who was scammed into taking out half of her life savings to pay for her driveway to get resurfaced.

The two scammers told her they would resurface her driveway, and said the project was $4,000, cash only. So, they drove her to her credit union to withdraw the money, walker, oxygen tank and all.

Because she didn't have her cell phone with her, she was too rattled and too embarrassed to do or say anything.

On Thursday, Cap Sealcoating is giving her a new driveway. They are tearing out the old one and putting in a new concrete driveway for free.

Also, a second Channel 7 viewer who was the scam had us deliver her a check for the $4,000 the scammers took from her.
