There are a number of elections being held today in Michigan for local school districts. ]

Warren Consolidated Schools is asking for the largest sum of any district in Macomb County, more than $134 million.

The money will be used for a number of important upgrades including technology, athletic fields and playground equipment.

Dearborn Heights School District No. 7 is looking for the renewal of a building-- and a site-sinking fund for 10 years.

Romeo Community Schools wants to get an $86-million approval for a bond proposal that would demolish the middle school and eventually move those students into the high school.

The high school would then be relocated to the Romeo Engineering and Technology Center.

Part of that $86-million would also go toward upgrading a number of athletic facilities.
