There’s new trouble for Governor Rick Snyder in the Flint water crisis.

New emails released by the governor shows the state’s top medical doctor knew about a possible Legionnaire's Disease outbreak in Flint a year before it was made public.

Doctor Matthew Davis also served on the governor’s task force that looked into the water crisis and released a report in March.

Davis is a Professor of Pediatrics and Professor of Public Policy at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

According to newly released emails, he was among several briefed on Legionnaires Disease in 2014 and 2015 in Flint, possibly as a result of the water that sickened 91 people and caused 12 deaths.

The governor brushed it off today.

We emailed Dr. Davis with several questions. He told us he was seeing patients today, and unable to be interviewed.
